Chatfield Watershed Authority Invites Public Input To Develop Watershed Plan
Elected officials, state and federal agencies, local municipalities, special districts, environmental groups, other watershed associations, and members of the public were in attendance for the first of several 2013-2014 meetings conducted by the Chatfield Watershed Authority (Authority) to discuss the Chatfield Watershed Plan. The Authority promotes protection of water quality in the Chatfield Watershed for drinking water supplies, recreation, fish, wildlife, the preservation of natural ecosystems, and other beneficial uses. The Chatfield Watershed Plan is being developed through a grant awarded to the Authority from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE).
