Application Process

a. Deadlines: Applications will be accepted at any time but will be evaluated only twice a year (due by March 1st and September 1st).

b. Who can apply: Applications will be accepted from governmental or quasi-governmental agencies and non-profits

• Separate process for Chatfield State Park projects within Chatfield State Park.

Review Process

a. The WQ Funding Review Committee of the CWA will review applications in each application cycle and will provide recommendations to the CWA Board for potential funding.

b. Funding recommendations will be based on the following:

i. Ranking of the project in meeting the water quality objectives and goals of the CWA

ii. Availability of funds for requested project funding.

iii. Other as determined by the CWA WQ Fund Sub-Committee

Approval Process

a. If the application is approved for funding, the CWA will notify the applicant of the following:

i. Amount of approved funding.

ii. Any funding match requirements.

iii. Timing and conditions for distribution of funds.
